Wrea Green village, which is the main community covered by Ribby with Wrea Parish Council, is regularly Lancashire’s Best Kept Village – Champions Class, including 2012. The Council is directly responsible for the maintenance of the largest green in Lancashire, two ancillary greens, five open spaces, and a play area including a junior football field, allotments, garages and the public conveniences. The Council also controls the fishing permit issue at the Dub (pond), the football pitch and cricket square on the main green.
AB Project & Maintenance Management has successfully managed and delivered different projects over the last few years. The projects have been diverse and all necessitated community liaison throughout each project duration. The liaison aspect has been essential in order to ensure all village residents and visitors continued to be fully apprised of the ongoing projects' and to maintain their co operation at all times.
ABPMM has at all times provided an excellent service, delivering each project within timescale and allocated budget. The Council was also fully briefed re project progress and did not find it necessary to become involved with the general public regarding project issues.
